




As the creative lead, Finn Winterson advises clients on advertising, brand design, website development and web-related communications. He has more than 20 years of experience in publishing and advertising as an Art Director and Designer. He brings broad visual skill to branding, advertising, web development and corporate communications.
Mr. Winterson served as Art Director of Marketing Services at The New York Times for nine years. His design and art direction credits have included work for Penguin Putnam Publishing, The New Yorker Magazine, Rodale publishing, Dow Jones and Conde Nast. His work experience includes events, logo design and development, graphics standards, print collateral, media kit design and production, web advertising and web design and development.
While at The New York Times, Mr. Winterson earned a number of graphic design awards from The Art Directors Club and Communication Arts Magazine.
Mr. Winterson holds a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration from Pratt Institute.
Lisa Sawin is the technical engineer for Winterson Design. With 7 years experience in software and web application design, she delivers a focus on user-centered models and unobtrusive, cutting-edge technology.
Ms. Sawin was a partner in Glass Bead Software, a company with a line of cross-platform networking products. At Glass Bead, she brought software through the design and development process. By fostering a strong relationship with long-term clients, Ms. Sawin was able to strengthen Glass Bead Software's product line, as well as increase customer loyalty and retention.
Ms. Sawin's web development experience includes work as a lead contributor on Metaform, an open-source domain specific language used in the health-care industry. In addition to technical skill with multiple web tools, her insight into social networking and its applications to marketing allow her to design programs that deliver a robust online presence.
Bringing her skills in search-engine optimization, database design, dynamic web tools and object-oriented programming to Web site creation, Ms. Sawin's work reflects a focus on the user experience. Her ability to work across different platforms and browsers makes her a strong partner for Finn Winterson's visual and creative skill.
Ms. Sawin holds an MA in Mathematics from The University of California at Berkeley.
Robert Taylor is a strategic marketing, branding and design executive with more than 20 years experience. He has partnered with a diverse range of consumer goods manufacturers in multiple categories - including health & beauty, food & beverage, toys, high-tech, entertainment, sports and the arts.
Mr. Taylor has led high-profile brand optimization initiatives on behalf of global corporations such as Procter & Gamble, Mattel, Disney and Intel. He has also consulted with a wide variety of emerging small to medium-sized businesses. Over the course of his career he has partnered with scores of gifted marketers, during which time he has gained a practical and working knowledge of the science of strategic branding (i.e., launching, sustaining, evolving and positioning clearly defined consumer brands).
This foundation in strategic thinking - combined with his experience in design, creative direction and account supervision - has proven to be an invaluable skill set. When engaged, Mr. Taylor’s clients are confident that he will deliver a distinctive range of creative solutions that fully support their marketing strategy, enhance the personality of their brand, and adhere to the budget as defined.
Mr. Taylor studied graphic design and fine art at the Pratt Institute.
